Deddi’s Heart was founded to honor the memory of our friend Deddi (pictured on the left) whom we became close with while teaching in Indonesia. Deddi was one of the most giving people we have ever known. His dedication to helping others while continually smiling had a great impact on all who knew him.

 

In honor of Deddi’s enormous heart for others, our organization has dedicated ourselves to following his example. We do this by helping underprivileged children in Indonesia gain access to stable housing, education, nutrition, and medical care. In doing this, we are continuing deddi's mission of reaching out and helping others in need.
